I am Madhavi Shastri living in azad nagar locality. I would like to draw your kind attention towards child labour being practiced in our city.
Last afternoon, I was passing that my eyes caught a 10 years old boy working at a construction site and his employer was scolding and hitting him for not doing the work properly. According to my knowledge and the law of our country, article 24 under Rights against exploitation prohibits employment of children below the age of 14 years in factories, mines and other hazardous occupations. The practice of bonded labour has also been declared unlawful.
Therefore I request you to take necessary action to save that child and other such children who are suffering with this illegal practise of child labour and get them admitted to a school instead of working. I shall be ever grateful to you for this kind act.
