• Myself: Let me first start by asking you how long were you serving in the army.
• Rakesh Sharma: I was in the army for the last fifteen years.
• Myself: Such a long time to stay away from your loved ones. How did you ever bear the separation?
• Rakesh Sharma: I was always serving my mother for the last fifteen years so I never felt the pinch of separation from my family.
• Myself: Did you always have a specific position or did your position change often in the army?
• Rakesh Sharma: We usually had our fixed positions so that we could study the position very carefully and be aware of the advantages of the position at the time of an attack.
• Myself: Did you make any friends in the army?
• Rakesh Sharma: Yes, I did make some really good friends in my unit.
