1. Is it possible to have a triangle with given sides?
a) 3 cm, 4 cm, 8 cm
b) 2.5 cm, 3.4 cm, 5.7 cm
Justify your answer.
2. The length of two sides of a triangle is 5 cm and 6 cm. Between what two measures should the
length of the third side fall?

A- no as 3+4=7 and 7 is smaller than 8
Main formula to find if it’s a triangle or not is to add the two smallest number and compare to the third number
If it’s smaller then answer is “no” but if bigger then “yes”
NOTE- if the number r equal then answer is “no”.

Q2 - according to me it should be greater than 11cm
I don’t have a specific answer
