There is a very important property of triangles

The sum of any two sides of a triangle is ALWAYS greater the third side.

Keep this in mind.

Now coming to the question.

Let us consider the two sides with 2 cm and 3 cm. Let us take their sum. It will be 5 cm. But the third side of the triangle is also 5 cm. By the property stated above, this should not happen. The third side has to be greater and can't be even equal to the sum of the other two sides.

So a triangle with sides 2 cm, 3 cm and 5 cm can never exist.
