It's easier to pull and object than push it. That's because when you push an object a component of force gets added to the weight of the body which creates more friction whereas when the body is pulled the vertical component of force is against the weight of the body which results in lesser amount of friction.

In pushing frictional force is greater than that of in case of pulling. When you push you to add some normal of mg, so friction also increases but in case of pulling at the time you are pulling you decrease the normal so friction reduced and & it becomes easier.
