Explanation:

Filtration: It is the method of separating insoluble solid particles from the solution using a semi permeable membrane like filter paper. The semi permeable membrane allows only a definite size particles to pass through it allowing it to be separated. Since liquid molecules are generally smaller these are able to pass through the filter paper as filtrate leaving behind insoluble solid in the filter paper.

Sedimentation and Decantation: Sedimentation is a process of allowing insoluble solid particles to rest at the bottom of solution by leaving them undisturbed for time being. Since these molecules are larger and heavier than water they will settle down at the bottom.

Decantation is then to pour the upper clear liquid to other beaker by slowly tilting the solution in a way that large solid particles are left in one beaker while upper clear liquid is obtained/poured into other beaker.
