then,
→ Perimeter of flag = 2(Length + Breadth)

→ 2(2x + x) = 18
→ 2 * 3x = 18
→ 6x = 18
→ x = 3 unit
therefore,
→ Length of flag = 2x = 2 * 3 = 6 unit .
→ Breadth of flag = x = 3 unit .
hence,
→ Area of the flag made by Jamal = Length * Breadth = 6 * 3 = 18 units ² .
