1kg=1000g
Now,1000g=₹40
100g=₹x
Cross multiply and you will get
1000x=100*40
1000x=4000
x=4000/1000
x=₹4

Ans.

The cost of 1 kg = 1000 gm is Rs 40
The cost of 1 gm cherry = Rs (40/1000) = Rs 0.04
So the cost of 100 gm cherry = Rs (0.04×100) = Rs 4

I HOPE THAT THIS HELPS YOU.
