(1) Let = { 1, 2, 3, …, 9, 10 ,11} , A = { 1, 2, 4, 5, 10} and B = {2, 6, 9 ,11} then determine the following:
A = { 1, 2, 4, 5, 10} so A’ = { 3, 6,7,8,9,11}

Answer:

let's the base be 3x & altitude be 4x

A = 1/2 x b x h

294 = 1/2 x 3x x 4x

294 = 6x

x = 294/6

x = 49

so, b= 3(49) ; h = 4(49)

b = 147cm h = 196cm
