2 litres is the answer

Step - by - step Explaination:

Here goes the balanced equation,

2CO + O₂ → 2CO₂

Number of Moles of CO = 3/22.4 = 0.13

Number of moles of O₂ = 1/22.4 = 0.04

(Trick to identify limiting reagent)

→ CO = 0.13/2, O₂ = 0.04/2

→ CO = 0.065, O₂ = 0.04

Since value of O₂ is less than CO hence O₂ is the limiting reagent.

→ 1 mole of O₂ = 2 moles of CO₂

Hence weight of CO₂ = 2 × 1 litre = 2 litres
