1) Maheshbhai decided to fit square tiles on the floor of kitchen. Each tile
measures 10 cm of length. If the length of his kitchen is 150 cm and
its breadth is 100 cm, then how many tiles would be needed​

Area of one square tile:-

=(Side)^{2}

=(10)^{2}

=100 cm^{2}

Area of kitchen:-

=lb

=(150)(100)

=15000 cm^{2}

Number of tiles= 15000 ÷ 100

=150

Hence 150 tiles would be needed.
