Mangal pandey was an Indian solider from Bengal who played a great part in the sudden outbreak of the 1857 rebellion.

Born on 19th july,1827 Bahadur Shah Zafar II was the last Mughal ruler after the death of Akbar II his father. Nana Sahib was the adopted son of Peshawar Balaji Bajirao and he led the rebellion against British in 1857 and he was also the Peshawar of Maratha empire.

Begum Hazarat Mahal after her husband Nawab wajid Ali Shah exiled to Calcutta she took the charge of Awadh state and also took the control over lucknow. Rani lakshmi Bai the Queen of jhansi born in varanasi was a very brave ruler and she was the childhood friend of Tatya tope and Nana Sahib the two legends of Maratha empire they three fought in the 1857 rebellion against British.
