1 Answer : Plasma ,Red blood cells are the two components of blood .

2 Answer :Oxygenated blood moves from the lungs to the left atrium (upper chamber of the heart on the left ). The atrium has a thin wall .The blood is collected in the left atrium when the left atrium relaxes .As soon as the left atrium contracts ,the left ventricle expands and blood is transferred to the left ventricle.

3 Answer : The main functions of the valves present between the atria and the ventricles is to prevent the back flow of blood from one chamber of the heart to the other .3. Triscupid valve ,which are between the upper chambers (atria) and the lower chambers (ventricles ) .

4 Answer : Arteries have thick ,elastic ,muscular walls whereas veins have thin walls with few elastic fibres. ..Veins have one way valves whereas arteries do not have any valves .veins need valves as the blood flowing through them is at such a low pressure that they need something to prevent it going backwards .
