Hey dear,

● Answer -
1-methyl-1-iodocyclohexane

● Explaination -
- When 1-methylcyclohexene is treated with HI, HI gets added to double bond.
- The important question is which group attaches where.
- Markownikoff's rule is used to predict major product after addition of HI over double bond.
- According to Markownikoff's rule, H+ attaches to C-atom with more H attached while I- goes to C-atom with less H attached.
- Therefore, 1-methyl-1-iodocyclohexane is formed as major product.

Hope this helped you..
