I am here today to talk about poverty.Poverty is an increasing worldwide issue that needs  to be addressed and fast! What is poverty you may ask??Poverty is the state of being poor and lack of the means of providing material needs or comforts.Poverty has existed for a very long time and to many extents it remains worldwide still in this 21st century. There are an estimated 1.4 billion people living in poverty today and it is most common in many third world countries in Africa, Asia and South America etc, Concern fight against poverty and help to make a difference. These people just like you and me are fighting daily for their survival. They have nothing!! Life should  be full of memories and experiences that you will remember and cherish forever. Not the experiences they have to live through. The happiest experience or memory these people have is a spoonful of food or a gulp of clean water which is something we take for granted! There are approximately two billion children in the world and one billion live in poverty. This has to change!! -134 million children between the ages of 7 and 18 have never been to school. This has to change!! 21,000 childern die everyday due to malnutrition, malaria, war, No Food, No Water, No basic education and countless other diseases. They die for reasons we can prevent ?

1 MIN SPEECH ON POVERTY

Poverty is the most prominent and burning problem in India, due to which the growth rate of India is being affected. Poverty has been a major problem not only in India but in many developing countries of the world.

Rich people are getting richer and poor people are getting poorer. About 80% to 90% of the world's major resources are owned by only 10% of the people, the remaining 90% of people are able to use only 10 to 20% of the resources, and this is the main reason for poverty. That's why the progress of any country is not possible without the eradication of poverty. If India also has to take its development work on the fast track, then it will have to root out poverty. It is necessary that every citizen of India should get the right to live a life with dignity.
