Natural resource is defined as form of energy and or matter which is essential for the functioning of organisms, population and ecosystems. Natural resource refers to any form of energy or matter essential for the fulfillment of physiological, socioeconomic and culture needs both as undivided or a community

The progress of human depends upon the exploitation of different natural resources. The utilization of soil, water, coal, electricity, oil, gas and nuclear energy is very important for the development of nation. Any matter which is required or used to sustain life or livehood is termed as a resource.

In other world resources are all these requirements of organisms, population and communities which trend to help in accumulation of energy by their increased availability..

The basic ecological variables - energy, space, 'time and diversity are sometimes combined are called natural resources.

This natural resource is maintaining ecological balance among them. The natuial resources include all the land, water, minerals, vegetation, wildlife and sceneries all of which remain useful to human society in one way or other.

Hello everyone,

I am here to give a brief talk on natural resources. Natural resources are naturally existing materials in our environment naturally, particularly without human interference. Natural resources include a region's minerals, energy, land, water, forests, wildlife and biodiversity. They can be classified into renewable and non-renewable resources.A non renewable resource is such that cannot be renewed by itself or replenished as it gets used. An important example of this is carbon based organically derived fuel. Renewable resources are those which can be replenished as it gets consumed or used up. Water is a great example for this. We can easily understand this by thinking about the water cycle that replenishes the water on earth and that fossil fuel is becoming scarce and scientists are experimenting with other forms of energies to run motor vehicles. The natural resources can be again classified into biotic and abiotic resources, on the basis of origin. Minerals, metals and other such  non-living materials  fall in the category of abiotic natural resources. The biotic resources can be obtained in the raw form, or by means of cultivation through agriculture. Petroleum is a resource included in this category; the organic origin or petroleum is the reason behind its inclusion in biotic resources. Crops obtained through farming are also  important natural resources. we need to take care of not wasting our resources and must learn to make use of them in an effective manner so that they last longer and be useful for our future generations also. Thank you
