Arts are the creations that we do with our hands, actions and voice, that immediately excites a feeling of pleasure and beauty in those who see them are listen to them. Arts are excellent hobbies. Arts are means of entertainment. Arts are also means of livelihood for many around the world. We can express our creativity and feelings through arts. We can enjoy the pleasure of freely expressing our inner thoughts and feelings. We feel so happy and contented when some one appreciates our works of art.
“He who works with his hands is a laborer. He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman. He who works with his hands and his head and his heart is an artist.” ― Francis of Assisi.
Examples of arts are painting, acting, speaking - elocution, debate, collage, dancing, miming, making crafts and sculpture etc. Even music, writing epics and stories are part of arts. Film actors, singers, dancers and painters become famous artists quite quickly.
Arts are special skills that one possesses. It is often said that artists are Sons and daughters of Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge, wisdom and skills. In fact, romance with a male or female and sex is also treated as an art. It is said in Indian mythology and epics that there are 64 kinds of art.
We can take names of many famous arts here. There are so many.
In India film actors are much dreamed of and run after with craze. Other arts are looked up as gifted persons with extreme respect.
