How should we celebrate Children’s Day? Here is a short speech on the significance of  Children’s Day. Suitable for children aged 5-10.

If there is something that all men like, it can be nothing else but children. They conquer our hearts with their angelic eyes and innocent smiles . It makes us realize that may be the way god wanted us to be. On Children’s Day tribute is paid to all children in the world.

In India, Children’s Day is celebrated on 14th November as the day marks the birth anniversary of the legendary freedom fighter and independent India’s first prime minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. He was one who used to spend most of his precious moments with children and their innocence.

Children’s Day is a day to engage in fun and frolic. But it is not just that. This day reminds everyone to renew their commitment towards the welfare of the children and to teach them to live by Chacha Nehru’s ideals. And for grown-up people, it is an occasion to imbibe the qualities of childhood.

Children build the nation sound and strong. One may think how these tiny tots can change the nation. Yes, they can, because today’s children are responsible citizens of tomorrow. For a country to develop lies in the hands of the child. And the foundation of knowledge, skills and attitude are laid in this impressionable period.

Children’s Day also reminds us of the rights of children. We are the citizens and leaders of tomorrow. So we really matter and deserve respect, special care and protection. But do you know how many children are abused in our nation? On this occasion let us also remember those children who are sick, abused and unhappy. Remember that as children:

Answer:

                            CHILDREN'S DAY

  • I greet you warmly and wish you all a happy children's day. Let us also celebrate this day with joy and fully appreciate the gift of childhood that has been given to us. But let us also remember the great responsibility we have towards this society and towards a better India. Children's Day in India is celebrated on November 14th every year.
  • This day is also called Bal Divas, where "Bal" means "child" in Hindi and Divas means "day".This day is also celebrated in the year in honor of the birthday of our first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, who was affectionately called “Chacha Nehru” or “Chachaji” by children, had a special connection with them and was always loving in their company. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was born  in Allahabad onNovember 14, 1889 and was educated at home by private tutors from an early age.
  • This is their 132 year anniversary. After her last breath in 1964, it was decided to celebrate her birthday as Bal Divas, or Children's Day, when everyone can revisit their inner child  and celebrate their childlike qualities and remember the importance of keeping them intact . Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was the epitome of love for children and  always committed to their betterment and welfare. A well-fed child  builds a stronger nation.
  • And this can be achieved through quality education, a child's first school is their home, so parents play an important role in creating the foundation of  discipline, honesty and sincerity , and children with such qualities continue to excel at school and in life  bring laurels to our nation.
  • Many of our great freedom fighters credit their  parents and teachers for their skills and abilities, as well as being inspired by them and following their paths while respecting parents and teachers alike as they play an integral role in shaping a child's future. A child must be given complete freedom to break free and explore his interests and follow the path of his calling. And that is only possible through proper education and holistic development.
