Discipline means order or code of behaviour . Self-discipline refers to the ability to control one's own feeling. Life without self discipline is waste . Self discipline has to be learnt at every walk of life and childhood is the best period of it . The young minds learn self discipline very easily so children should taught self discipline right from the young age . so the student days are most formative period in which the value of self discipline can be learnt . A man is just like a animal without self discipline his life and actions become aimless .

In fact , self discipline is a good thing . It is builds character . It develops strength and unity . It creates a sense of co-operation . It is a key to success in life .

A very pleasant good Morning respected Principal mam worthy teachers, seniors and my dear friends. Today I, shreya of class 9th A, present here to deliver a short speech on the topic “ Discipline”.

Well, we all are aware of this word discipline. Let's know more about it and its importance in our life.

To be guided by rules, to pay due regard to elders and superior officers, to obey them and to behave in an orderly manner, all these come under the term discipline.

Discipline is necessary in all walks of life. Whether at school or at home, in the office or in the factory, in the playground or in the battlefield, discipline is a necessity.

Discipline is a good thing and there is no evil in it. It builds character, develops strength and unity and fosters co-operation.

It is, therefore necessary that everyone should be taught discipline from their childhood. It should never be overlooked, as it is the secret of success in life.
