urbanization is a quick process in few high countries like Canada and china because they are very quick because of their new technologies. there other countries also like India they  are getting urbanized but in slow and correct manner. the process of urbanization is also related to industrialization and economy. when there is high economy with money and sufficient features there would be more about of urbanization. we can say urbanization in single word as development of all the urban area. this urbanization can be slow but really it would be effective.

URBANIZATION is a socio economic process by which an increasing proportion of the population of an area becomes concentrated into the towns and cities.The term is also defined as the level of population concentration in urban areas.
The process of urbanization increases both the numbers and size of towns and cities.
Here large number of people becomes permanently concentrated in small areas forming cities.The definition of a city or an urban area changes from time to time and place to place.
Urbanization thereby contribute to modernisation and social change.It is beneficial because of better opportunity for earning higher incomes,better infrastructure and better awareness and response of people to social issues in general.
However,urbanization is not an unmixed blessing.Shortage of land,the growing gap between the demand and supply of basic facilities and services and finally,massive environmental pollution in cities,adversaly affect the qualityof urban life.
