Answer:

The answer is 1.8518 mol /Kg

Explanation:

Molality (m)= no of moles of solute/kg of solvent

Given data:

No of moles of solute (NaOH) = 1 mole

No of moles of solvent (H2O) = 30 moles

From no of moles of H20 calculate the mass of solvent in kg.

Mass of solvent (water) = No of moles of water x molar mass of water

                                     = 30 x 18

                                     = 540 g

Convert in kilogram by diving with 1000

                                    = 540 / 1000 = 0.54 Kg

Put the values in above formula.

Molality (m)  =  1 mole /  0.54 Kg

                  =  1.8518 mol /Kg
