The equilibrium constant Kp is1/3

Explanation:

As we know,

1 mole of nitrogen oxide(NO_{2}) reacts with 1 mole of carbon oxide(CO)

∵ 25% of CO

= 1/2 or 0.5 moles out of 2moles reacted with 1/2 or 0.5 moles of NO_{2}

NO_{2}  + CO ⇄ NO + CO_{2}

KC = (1 - 0.5) * (2 - 0.5) ⇄ (0.5) * (0.5)

KP = \frac{(0.5) (0.5)}{(0.5) (1.5)}

 = 1/3
