One mole of any gas occupies 22.4 L volume at STP conditions.

So, for 2.4 L of gas,

Number of moles = n = 2.4/22.4
So, n=0.107 moles

Now, 1 mole propane gives "A" kJ
So, 0.107 mole propane will give
(0.107×A) kJ of energy
