1. Mr. Sunil wanted to cover one side of his bathroom wall to wall with tiles. The
dimensions of the wall is 210 cm x 150 cm. Find the number of tiles required to
cover the wall if each square tile is of side 30 cm.
2. A rectangular lawn is of length 32 m and breadth 13 m. Find the cost of levelling
the lawn at the rate of 5 per m2.​

Area of the wall=210*150=31500cm²Area

Area of tiles=30*30=900cm²

No. of tiles required to finish the wall=

3150/900= 35 ANSWER

2.

Area of the lawn =32*13=416m²

Cost of per m²=rupee 5

Cost of 416m²=416*5

=rupee 2080 ANSWER
