Here n = 1

(-1)^(1-n) = 1

By using the property of exponents { a^b ÷ a^c = a^(b-c) }

So this can be written as

(-1)^1 ÷ (-1)^n = 1

So multiplying both side by (-1)^n

(-1)^1 = (-1)^n

Now comparing exponents we get

n = 1

you can check btw

(-1)^(1–1)= 1

(-1)^0 = 1 ……..{ a^0 = 1}

1 = 1

Hope this helps. Please mark me as Brainliest. Have a great day.
