The different types of plastics are chloroplast, leucoplast and chromoplast.

Function of chloroplast is to photosynthesis. And store starch.

Function of leucoplast is the stored food materials of plants that are of three types:-

1- elaioplast stores fat

2-amylopast stores starch

3-aleuroplast stores protein as in aleurone layer of maize seed.

Function of chromoplast is to provide colour it is due to carotenoid pigment. Ex is carrot is red due to chromoplast and it is formed either from leucoplast or chloroplast. The green chilly turning red due to conversion of chloroplast to chromoplast.
