1.The process is called dissolution.
2.Water hyacinths float on water because aerenchyma, which is a type of parenchyma have air cavities which help them to float on water.
4.The reason why sugar dissolves at a faster rate in hot water has to do with increased molecular motion. The added energy in the hot water causes water molecules to move faster and sucrose molecules to vibrate faster. This added movement tends to make the bonds between sucrose molecules easier to overcome.
5. due to the production of Saliva
6. We can prepare the colloidal solution of starch by adding starch in water.

Plzz add one or two questions at a time ok

1) when dettol is added to water diffusion takes place .

2)Water hyacinths are the only large aquatic herb that can float on the water unattached to the bottom. The leaves of free-floating water hyacinths are characterised by a bulbous swelling in a section of the petiole.

3) third one is attached .

4) sugar crystal dissolve fast in hot water than cold water because in hot water molecular rate increases.

5) cheek epithelial cells are always moist because in the salivary glands, the mucin maintains a moist environment in the oral cavity.

6)The colloid of starch is prepared by dispersion method. 2-3 g of powdered/crushed starch is dissolved in 3- 4 ml of water to make a thin paste. This paste is added to100 ml of boiling water while stirring. Allow the solution to cool and filter. The filtrate is colloid of starch.

I hope this will help u
