1) The highest population density thus was in the eastern region that included the very densely populated states of Bihar and West Bengal

2)The states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Kolkata have relatively high population density due to the following reasons: the location of the areas, as these are located near the river Ganga which is the lifeline of northern India

3) The coastal areas with low population density are the Malabar coastal region in Kerala and in Tamil Nadu

4)The population distribution in Himachal Pradesh is directly taken with land that has uneven and not suitable for development.

It has very less chances to become a farmer and living with green landscapes.

So, the Himachal Pradesh is sparsely populated.

They are covered with high terrains and unlike in plains the land is uneven so far.

Therefore, it is not suitable for agriculture.
