Answer:

1) In agriculture, ploughing, levelling, and manuring are the three steps of soil preparation. Ploughing includes loosening and digging of soil. During ploughing, the soil becomes loose and the nutrients in deep soil come to the top.

2)Besides the most prominent oil crops (palm, soybean, rapeseed and sunflower), many other crops such as, canola, mustard, flax, jatropha, coconut, hemp, and pennycress are good resources of oil.

3)Cultivator, farm implement or machine designed to stir the soil around a crop as it matures to promote growth and destroy weeds.

4) Transplanting increases ground utilization and enables faster turnaround times. This decreases the demand on land usage and provides opportunities for an additional pre-season harvest and a higher volume and yield potential per acre per season.

5) With drip irrigation, water works its way slowly into the soil, where water goes directly to the roots of the plant, keeping evaporation to a minimum. Drip irrigation is ideal for clay soils - where too much water, too quickly, can result in puddles and run-off.

6) A silo is a structure for storing bulk materials. Silos are used in agriculture to store grain or fermented feed known as silage. Silos are commonly used for bulk storage of grain, coal, cement, carbon black, woodchips, food products and sawdust.
