Monocotyledons :which havd only one cotyledon 
Dicotyledons :which have two cotyledons.

The sub groups of angiosperms which are divided on the basis of number of cotyledons  are monocotyledons and dicotyledons. Seed with single cotyledon are known as monocotyledon and seeds with 2cotyledons are known as dicotyledons.
