  • It is the secondary external opening for the respiratory tract.

Nose :

  • Nose allows the entry of the air.
  • It helps to filter the air we inhale.

Pharynx and larynx :

  • Pharynx are are muscular tube which acts as a passage way for air.

Diaphragm :

  • Diaphragm contracts and expands the lungs.

Lungs :

  • Lungs allows us to breathe.
  • It helps oxygen to enter the RBC in blood.
