1. The System (Nazism) "The System" (German: Das System) was a derogatory term used by the National Socialists to denote contemptuously the Weimar Republic, whose official name was German Reich (Deutsches Reich), and its institutions.

2. At the end of the Second World War, an International Tribunal at Nuremberg was set up to persecute Nazi war criminals for crimes against peace, for war crimes and crimes against humanity.
