Answer 1.

The finely divided powder

Because in the finely powder form it will have more ions to dissociate and complete the reaction faster. Here the powdered nickel act as a catalyst.

HIII.......

THERE IS YOUR ANSWER......

AS WE KNOW THE CATALYST WHICH IONISE READILY WILL ALWAYS INCREASE THE RATE OF REACTION AND THE NO. ELECTRON IONISED FROM THE METAL SURFACE DEPENDS ON THE SURFACE AREA OF THAT PARTICULAR METAL......

AS WE TAKE SMALL PIECES OF Ni METAL THAN THE SURFACE ARE FOR THE LOOSELY ELECTRON IS MORE THAN THE WIRE OF Ni........

SO IF WE TAKE SMALL PIECES THAN THE RATE OF REACTION IS MORE THAN THE WIRE OF Ni........

AS YOU INCREASE THE SURFACE AREA THE RATE OF REACTION ALWAYS INCREASES.....

HOPE ITS HELP YOU......
