A candle flame consists of several different zones with different temperatures colours tell us the temperature of the flame.
1. Outer zone
2. Middle zone
3. Inner zone
The outermost zone is the hottest among all Jones and it is blue in colour, and this is due to complete combustion.
The middle zone is the candle flame is moderately hot and is yellow in colour and partial combusion of fuel take place. It is bright part of the fire.

The innermost zone of the flame is the least hot and is black in colour This is due to the presence of sunburnt wax vapours.
