Total Trees = 3x³ + 6x² - 7x - 4   if Ashoka trees planted in (3x + 1) rows having (x + x² - 1) trees in each row and Mango Trees in (x - 3) rows having (2x + 1) trees in each row

Step-by-step explanation:

Ashoka trees were planted in (3x + 1) rows having (x + x² - 1) trees in each

row

=> Total Ashoka Trees = (3x + 1)(x + x² - 1)

= 3x²  + 3x³  - 3x  + x + x² - 1

= 3x³ + 4x² - 2x - 1

Mango trees were planted in (x - 3) rows having (2x + 1) trees in each row.

=> Total Mango Trees = (x - 3)(2x + 1)

= 2x² + x - 6x - 3

= 2x² - 5x - 3

Total Tress = 3x³ + 4x² - 2x - 1 +  2x² - 5x - 3

=  3x³ + 6x² - 7x - 4
