Answer:
Honey bee hive consists of three types.
1. worker bees
2. drone bees
3. Queen bee
Worker bees: these are smallest bees in a hive but are largest in number. all workers are female in gender but cannot help in reproduction. as the name says they are the most necessary are hard working bees, which will collect nectar from flowers and bring them to hive. all the work to create the hive, create honey will be done by worker bees.
drone bees: these are male honey bees, and it's only function in a hive is to fertilize a young queen bee, so that it can reproduce. these are larger in size than worker bees. these bees are developed from unfertilised eggs. after fertilizing queen bee, it will only eat and rest. end of the summer, drones will be kicked out of hive to preserve food, that is honey.
Queen bee: Queen bee is most important bee in a hive. without it a hive won't exist. it is largest bee with folded wings and always surrounded by some worker bees as guards to assist it. Queen bee is important because it is the only bee capable of reproduction in whole hive. interesting fact is where ever a queen bee was
placed all bees will go after her, this is because of a chemical produced by queen bee called as queen substance.
