(i) sin A cos C + cos A sin C
(ii) cos A cos C-sin A sin C​

A+C=90°_____(i)

now,

(1) sinA cosC + cosA sinC

= sin(A+C)_____[since sin(X+Y)=sinXcosY+cosXsinY ]

= sin90 [from eq(i)]

= 1

(2) cosA cosC - sinA sinC

= cos(A+C)_____[since cos(X+Y)=cosXcosY-sinXsinY ]

= cos90 [from eq(i)]

= 0
