1) Let the monthly income be x
Amount he spent on household expenditure = 70% of x
= 70x ÷ 100
He saves = 1800
According to the problem :
20x /100 +70x/100+1800=x
90x + 180000=100x
20 x +70x +180000/ 100 =x
90x-100x = - 180000
-10x = -180000
x= - 180000/-10 = 18000
Answer = 18000
