Plants depend upon Animals. During respiration, animals take in oxygen and give out carbon dioxide. This carbon dioxide is used by plants to make food. Insects such as honeybee, moths and wasps help to pollinate the flowers by carrying pollen from one flower to another. Animals also help in dispersion of seeds. Animals like elephants, bats and some birds help in dispersion by eating fruits and passing the softened seeds in their droppings, so that, they can easily grow into new plants. Some seeds of plants have hooks. These seeds attach themselves to animals fur and get transported to new places where they can grow.
