The answers of the given questions are as follows -

  • We can ensure better collection and recycling, by empowering the whole system from the grass-root level. The government can establish a rule for the companies which deal with plastic as raw material, that they have to use certain percentage of raw material from the recycling units. This would encourage a greater amount of plastic waste collection and recycling.
  • Recycling plastic waste materials require less energy consumption, and the fresh resources are also saved. So, if we pay continuous efforts on recycling plastic waste materials, the continuous save of energy and resources will be automatically done.
  • We can simply reduce the usage of plastic materials and instead of throwing them in the inappropriate environments, we can directly provide those waste materials to the recycling hubs.
  • We know that, dumping of non-biodegradble waste materials, is now an age old problem. The plastic waste materials are somehow managed by recycling process, and this can become a solution of the previously mentioned problem.
