{\tt{\underline{Given :-}}}

Sum of the two numbers = 125

Difference between the two numbers = 25

{\tt{\underline{Need\;to\;find :-}}}

The numbers

{\tt{\underline{Answer:-}}}

Here at first, we need to assume the two number as two variable

Let the unknown numbers be a and b

=> a + b = 125 (i)

=> a - b = 25 (ii)

On subtracting (ii) from (i)

=> a + b - a + b = 125 - 25

=> b + b = 100

=> 2b = 100

=> b = 100 ÷ 2

=> b = 50

From 1

=> a + b = 125

=> a + 50 = 125

=> a = 125 - 50

=> a = 75

Thus,

Numbers are 50 & 75. Option A (75 and 50) is correct
