if it is AP then it have common difference

d= a2-a1 = (x+2)-(x-1)

d= a3-a2 = (2x-1)-(x+2)

(x+2)-(x-1)= (2x-1)-(x+2)

x-x -2x+x = -1-2-2-1 .

-x= -6
