2) On a number line, Coordinates of P, Q, R are 3, -5 and 6 respectively. State with reason whether the
following statements are true or false.

i)d (P,Q)+d(Q,R)=d(P, R)

3) Prove: If a pair of alternate angles formed by a transversal of two lines is congruent then the two lines are parallel.

4)Prove that, if a line is perpendicular to one of the two parallel lines, then it is perpendicular to the other

if m is on mid of line seg ab and ab is 8 cm then am=A/2 because M divide the seg ab in 2 equal parts=AM=BM so Am=8/2=4cm
