Step-by-step explanation:

let 5-2√3 is a rational number

so, p/q=5-2√3

square both side

q×q/p×p=(5-2√3)(5-2√3)

q×q /p×p=25+12-20√3

q×q/p×p=27-20√3

in this equation right hand side is whole square but left hand side is not whole square so5-2√3is a irrational number is proved
