Answer:

(3+1/√2)2 = (4+√2)2

= 6 + 2(√2)

The addition, subtraction ,multiplicatin and division of any rational number and any irrational number will always be an irrational number.

Here we are adfing a rational number and a irrational so the results is a irrational number.
