  • the Indian soldiers to be at a high position and to be promoted.
  • the British to stop racial discrimination.
  • the Britsh to change the constitution for basic changes. (Like to stop Sati, untouchability, caste system, ill-treatment of widows, etc.)

INC- Moderates & Extremists

Moderates-

  • Signed and wrote petitions, gave speeches, used to hold public meets, and believed in the fair policies of the British.
  • Their demands were not accepted.

Extremists-

  • Used to use extreme ways to make their demands fulfilled.
  • Wanted Swaraj or Self Rule/Government, did Boycotts ( To not use clothes made in Britain ) & Strikes ( To not go to work in the British Army ).
