1. What are the various reasons why girls leave schools? What are the challenges in the field of Education in India

  • When a family faces financial hardship, quite often, the education of the girl child in the family get's adversely affected. since girls are expected to take care of their families in the future, education is not seen as an essential requirement for them.

  • Since schools are often located at a distance, the absence of adequate transport facilities and concern about safety of girls while traveling discourages many parents sending their daughter to the school.

  • They are made to be more involved in household chores which leaves them with little time to attend school.

  • Among those girls who do attend school, several drop out early because they are married off at early age.

  • In schools, girls are often encouraged to take up subjects that prepare them for traditional roles instead of subject such as science, mathematics. Also, little encouragement is given to girls to pursue sports and extra-curricular activities.

The cyclic pattern that shows the relationship between the three major rock groups is called the Rock Cycle.

  • The rock cycle shows that these rocks can interchange into another powered by the sun's energy and involves processes operating both on Earth's surface as well as in the Earth's interior.

  • They prevent the situation of harbour as the constant movement of water helps clear the sediments deposited by rivers on their beds.

  • The fishing industry benifits due to high tides as fish comes near the coasts, enabling the fishermen to obtain a bountiful catch
