Radius=AO=20cm

distance of chords= A and M =12cm

AB=?

AM=½AB...,...(i)

/_ OMA=90°

:. by using phythgorean thm

AO²= AM²+OM²

20²=AM²+12²

400=AM²=144

AM²=400-144

AM²=256. [by taking square root]

AM=16

:. now find AB

AB=½AB..... from (i)

AB=2×AM

AB=2×16

AB=32
