Answer:

Rs 1220 and Rs 610

Step-by-step explanation:

Cost of 1 table = Rs 350

Cost of 6 tables = Rs 350×6 = Rs 2100

also,

Cost of 1 chair = Rs 280

Cost of 6 chairs = Rs 280×6 = Rs 1680

so,

Cost price (CP) = Rs 2100 + Rs 1680 = Rs 3780

Selling price(SP) = Rs 5000

now,

Profit (P) = SP - CP

P =Rs 5000- 3780

p= Rs 1220

again,

Half of his profit = 1220/2

= Rs 610

Remaiming amount = Rs 1220 - 610 = Rs 610

Therefore,

He gained Rs 1220 in this transaction and his remaining amount is Rs 610.
