Lion:

Lions are famous for their loud roar which can be heard up to 5 miles away. They can make such a loud roar because the cartilage in their throats has turned into bone. In India, it is found in Sikkim, western Arunachal Pradesh, Darjeeling district of West Bengal and parts of Meghalaya. It is also the state animal of Sikkim.

Lion tailed monkey:

The lion-tailed macaques name is derived from its long tail, which has a tassel at the end like that of a lion. In the wild, lion-tailed macaques are only native to India. There, they live in the Western Ghats hills and mountains of southwestern India, less than 2,500 individuals remaining in the wild and about 400 more in zoos.
